Our permanent equine residents live here at Treetops Farm as a herd, living out on our organic pastures throughout much of the year.

Indoor accommodations consist of the choice between stabling and a partially covered corral, where the horses can still move around together.

Grazing is carefully managed, rotating with our other livestock to control parasites. Worm egg counts are most commonly zero or close to this, greatly reducing anthelmintic use.

We have found that for many horses, living in a group setting with plenty of outdoor time, movement and grazing improves a range of both behavioural and physical issues. In short, this means happier, healthier horses.
